We source this waxed braided polyester from Europe, specially for high quality hand-sewn leather projects. At 1mm thick with a slightly flat profile, it's ideal for saddle stitching veg-tanned leather. The wax holds the stitches in place as you sew, and with correct technique you'll be able to produce neat, even stitches.
