NEW ZEALAND SADDLERY LEATHERS
Both chrome and vegetable tanned hides are produced in New Zealand at very competitive prices, and with a minimum of hide ‘defects’ (brands, scratches, etc).

100% pure vegetable tanned, these hides “cut like butter”, and have been selected for a minimum of marks to the grain side, and veining to the flesh side. They are excellent for both – ‘rough-out’ and ‘smooth’ usage. Weight is around 4.0 - 4.5mm.
These hides can be purchased in sides which are around two square metres, and include bellies (for swells etc). Also available in double-backs which are approximately three square metres in area which offers a significant gain in cutting. Bellies are available at a budget price.
